Parent Committees
One of the important aspects that make the Hanna Fenichel Center a special place is the parent community who contribute their time to school-wide activities, events, and needs. Please see below a myriad of parent committees for you to volunteer your time. Each committee makes important contributions to our school life and children’s experience. We want to tap into something that fits your schedule, and your gifts. Please select two committees to support our school for the 2019-2020 school year. If you are a chair of a committee you are responsible for managing the committee and its members.

Spring Fling Fundraiser 2020
Eat, drink & be charitable! This annual gala/fundraiser, held in the Spring, is an anticipated evening of revelry and fun for our parents, grandparents, and friends of Hanna (adult only). Hosted at a new location most years and inspired by an engaging new theme each time, our committee has the pleasure of planning and executing a celebratory event for our community that is fueled by the organizational energy and creative prowess of our committee. Sustainable Hanna
Hanna has committed to sustainability by conserving valuable materials and resources. We try to avoid paper and plastic waste at our functions and educate our children on how to care for our environments and greater world. This committee will continue to help us improve our environmental policies and find opportunities to enhance our recycling, composting and encourage participation from our entire community.
Tech Committee
(Mac/Apple knowledge necessary): The Hanna staff rely on technology to document children’s learning and to share this with you! We often have tech “issues” that come up that surpass our skill level. Parents with technical expertise in the area of Mac computers and website problem solving are needed throughout the year. Volunteers are often needed in a semi urgent nature to problem solve and other times throughout the year to support appropriate computer updates, etc.
